Area covered is from north of "Kitty Vitty Pond," south almost to Freshwater Bay, west from the entrance of the Waterford River into the harbour, and east to beyond "Kitty Vitty Harbour". Oriented with north to upper right corner. Includes brief list of references keyed to map by letter (a is for Sages for heading, splitting and salting of fish, b is for Flakes for drying of Do. and c is for Wharfs. Has a scale bar in feet in lower right under the title and date. Very detailed map showing Fort William, "The Barren's," houses, fields, roads/streets, "Kitty Vitty," and "Kitty Vitty Harbour," stages, gun batteries, a church, streams, wharves, flakes, sylized vegetation, "The Atlantick Ocean," 2 "King's" wharves, Magotty Cove, "The Look Out," Cuckold's Head, Cuckold's Head Cove, Wash Ballocks, North Head, South Head, Navy Hospital, Navy Brewhouse, 2 bridges, and a falls after the bridge over the stream between Kitty Vitty Pond and Kitty Vitty Harbour.
