Also includes some of the Labrador coast. On the interior is "Island of Newfoundland". There is a grid of latitude and longitude. Written in lower right and reproduced is 6590. Has stamp of the Public Record Office.
Includes inset of "Environs of St. John's, Newfoundland." Relief shown by hachures. Depths shown by soundings, including in Kitty Vitty Pond. Has a scale bar in half a statute mile and a north arrow. Also indicates stylized trees, fields, forts, batteries, wharves, rocks, streets and roads, and buildings.
